I'm sorry new mail friends, I've been out of state visiting my elderly aunt in Traverse City Michigan.  I mailed post cards to family and friends, but did only one mail art card.  Now I have arrived home to lots of fun and incredible visual treats in my mail pile.  I'll work for the next couple of days getting cards out to those who sent them to me.  I'm seeing some great stamps and images and faux postage from a variety of people.  I am such a beginner in all this, I hope you all will bare with me while I learn the art as a new practitioner.

It's wonderful!  I'm so enchanted!  My aunt is OK, but sometimes I wonder about quality of life in these final years.  And I think of my own future, which is 30 or 35 years away if my life goes as hers has.  But like her, I have no children, also no nieces or nephews.  Hopefully, I'll get lots of mail.  Unless the USPS goes to doing delivery only 3 days a week, in which case maybe I'll get mail less frequently but have more to enjoy a a time.
