Adding and Passing

I was delighted to receive some 'Add and Pass' collages from Alan Brignull, along with some of Alan's own gorgeous printed items. However, being new to Mail Art, I wasn't sure quite how much to add or who to send it to afterwards. Being quite greedy for collage, I had to restrain myself from filling the entire page. My first mail art from IUOMA arrived, and it's wonderful. Thank you Marni!

On Sunday I discovered TWO awesome mail art pieces hiding among the junk mail on my front porch.  I have no idea if they both came on Saturday or if they arrived separately and were there for longer, but they made me so happy, thank you Marni!  The first one is postmarked 04 SEP 2014:

The envelope is made out of a magazine page with added tiny little black paper…

Mail Received - Carina Granlund

A beautiful card from Carina made my heart skip a beat. It is a photo transfer - I am still mystified as to how this is done - and a wonderful juxtaposition of what looks like a Chinese factory worker making what - orange rugs? opposed to a bunch of white men in suits in what could be courtroom. They are looking at something or somebody outside the frame. I…
