yeah, KDJ, and how my mom sent me little dresses she made out to california. i was trying to be a hippie. Those dresses, keep in mind i never wore dresses my entire life and still don't, had rick rack sewn on them. and then when i would come back to the midwest to visit, by dad would stop at the gas station and pick up a 'nice blouse' for me to wear. kind of sad when i think about this. Maybe these are stories i've not shared with Nadine in these 37 years.

I'd definately buy a book! Nadine should start an online business where she turns people's real life sagas into cartoons. Would be much better than "I'd like to draw a cat for you"   I heard the story about the pork rinds and V8 ==was there ever a cartoon done about that?

Ha ha! Better keep the Christmas candles away from Dan's highly flammable suit then. Big sis isn't happy about wearing same ensemble as little sis. "I have SO grown out of this look!"

Perfect observations!!!!!!! I'm so flattered you noticed the socks and suit. It was a miniature leisure suit for a child made of highly flammable material. Dresses home made. You all are my favorite people. Thanks for posting it Alicia. Dan will be mortified.
