the day before this card arrived, i had a conversation with a dear friend. She told me her daughter, (adult) needed to talk with her about something important that was of serious concern -candles. You see, my friend love candles. She lights them inside, outside on the porch, veranda, in the bathrooms, all over the place. Her partner follows her around to take note of the ones she lights so when she turns in for the night, (she loves her Cabernet), he can find them.

This exhibit opened Friday, Nov. 7, 2 014 in an old Post Office built in 1918. This post office has been saved and restored. On display are 55 books and a couple hundred mailings. Several hundred people have now been introduced to Mail Art. It was a glorious night thanks to all of you.…

Photo doesn't do this piece justice. Dimitra used Graphite and maybe a stencil sine the tiny squares would be nearly impossible to draw. Too bad they show up in this pic. Thanks Dimitra.
