Svenja is experimenting with gold and red and book covers and poems. How my photo of it can be so poor, I don't know. The red paint is wonderfully blended with gold, and the book cover as well (and not brown as it seems to be on the photo). I really like her choice of picture and the composition, especially the two beautiful faces.
As a poem she…

Svenja thinks of everything, Flying a mile with a banana attached? Thank you for the idea & for the card a laugh.

Thank you ladies for these two wide range art pieces ... and the third piece?
"Man surpised when seeing one of my Mail art pieces and saying BAR Code!" by Susan McAllister. Includes a real live bar code on the back. (not picuted, too graphic)
Creature of the Month from Svenja Wahl, but wait, is that the creature of the year I see below?…

Ms. Wahl has sent another humorous piece to tickle my funny bone...
The text overlaying that funny print photograph says, "New mail art especially for you! Your dancing IUOMA friend, Svenja."
The reverse side of this hand-made card has another [actual] black-and-white photograph of lumberjacks... possibly doing a pole dance??!?...…

Many delightful artefacts came to Paris from the famous Svenja Wahl. The Effiel tower in the middle of Dean, now why didn't I think of that. Thank you GO GO Girl!

I hope you mean the comforting lady with the newsprint Christmas tree, because as an existential question, WHERE ARE YOU can be scary, and endless. (The answer today is: I don't know.) I do love this postcard, Svenja, plus the little packet of…

Botticelli book cover, that is, a nice one: This is a thank-you note, according to Svenja, for the book cover she liked so much--notice the beautiful gold heart in his hands. It might be a little forward of Botticelli, but I don't mind! On the address side Svenja uses a "pfg" stamp or print block, which I am also very taken with and she says she bought along with some other…

She led me to believe she'd sent something silly, and then a crowd of intriguing minis shows up: and the calmer but nice back: In this art batch in plastic sleeves there are Svenja's animals, asemics, interesting compositions even on slide-sized cards, and…

I sometimes get in the habit of blogging multiple pieces of mail art due to time constraints and volume, even though many of the works of art deserve their own independent posting. One of those amazing pieces, that I didn't want folks to miss, was a recent gift from Svenja Wahl that REALLY MADE MY DAY!!
If you are looking at the photo of Svenja's envelope art…

It's another great one, Svenja, and I love the "I am beautiful as a dream of stone." You will have to tell who these nosey little fellows are; they are very cute in that homely sort of way. :--} Of course, the nosey part is what matters most. Thank you,…

The clever Svenja sent me some hints: Look at that envelope (front and back are shown)! Svenja's, always put together by hand, tend to be…

I must say that I am humbled by the enthusiasm behind LIAM TRA—whoever thought that one’s mistakes and folly could ever be celebrated and embraced to such an extent? I am not sorry for it, because it has inspired some folks to send me their own LIAM TRA in solidarity and mirth!!! Long live LIAM TRA!
Svenja Wahl sent this GREAT, AWESOME, FABULOUS mail to me…

First we have the caterpillar climbing asemic writing and a branch:
Then we have the ultimate butterfly on the back:
I love the composition and subjects, and don't know how Svenja knew that I'm a wildlife creature lover, but another one graces the…
