I must say that I am humbled by the enthusiasm behind LIAM TRA—whoever thought that one’s mistakes and folly could ever be celebrated and embraced to such an extent?  I am not sorry for it, because it has inspired some folks to send me their own LIAM TRA in solidarity and mirth!!!  Long live LIAM TRA!

 

Svenja Wahl sent this GREAT, AWESOME, FABULOUS mail to me that used her Liam Tra mugger defense stick (see her earlier blog).  Inside was this two-sided, image-and-collage piece; it’s not a complicated piece… but it’s simply PERFECT in its minimalism.  It’s like the perfect joke or one-liner, perfect because it is executed with impeccable timing!  “I wonder,” it says… “Me TOO!” says the other side, with portraits of people sitting and pondering some show or presentation at the front of a room.  Svenja, your staged delivery timing…and your art.. are PERFECT!

It must also be noted that Angie [& Snooky] have been HUGE advocates and sympathizers of LIAM TRA.  And I appreciate and delight in every ounce of your support, Angie!!!

Thom, very glad you liked it, and I had to laugh about your description of my STAMP as a mugger defense stick, that fits perfectly well (therefore it lies on my window sill)! Thanks a lot for this great blog. I love Angie and Snookys inversed feet, too!
