A Blog for Ruud Jannssen - ZALOP

Mail Art Received first week of January 2011.

Ok - I got a word - a LARGE FLUXUS WORD from Ruud - an EXCLAMATION word - know what I mean?

My task I  believe is to promote this as a word and determine meaning for this word. Promote - tick - I'm starting a Group.  Meaning - tick - ZALOP means "ABSOLUTELY NOT NO WAY NEVER NADA NIX". It is to be said in an EMPHATIC…

Marie has been very quiet - nice to see you back :-)

This is Marie's contribution to The World is a Town Project.  I confess to being a little stymied?? But, I'm keen on keeping everything intact and green - the starry world of the un-intact goat. Thanks Marie - good to hear from you…

A Blog for Eduardo Cardoso: Hypertext Anomaly

Mail art received at the end of December 2010.

This is the first mail art I have received from Eduardo the author of Paranormal Mail Art.  The title Hypertext Anomaly speaks volumes in interpreting this visually beautiful piece.  Take a bike ride through visual text. Interestingly Eduardo has pasted these newspaper images of a window over the window of the envelope .  This action blocks one view, whilst granting access to another.  The window of an envelope generally allows us to see…

A Blog for BatGirl: The Crimson Giant Just Flew In

The final but not last chapter if the Crimson Giant Saga flew in on bat wings two days ago.

Elaine is asking some searching questions and drawing some interesting conclusions to The Crimson Giant. She used the word WHAT instead of WHO. By a process of elimination, he is not the alpha or omega, the be all and end all. ABSOLUTELY!…

A Blog post for Frank Odette - "etc"

THIS I am very privileged to receive - a complete artist's book by Frank Odette in Australia titled "etc"

This volume is drawn, collaged, handwritten and inked into a soft cover commercially bought graph book. But Frank has removed it so far from its original intent - it now exists as the journey of Coyne and Frank - the etc travels of these two. "In 1985 Coyne said goodbye to his wife and kids and left to play a beer festival in… Continue
