I received this on Monday from J.J. (is that how you want to be known??) all the way from Canada. I bet its icing up there, while we SWELTER and storm? The artwork arrived in this card, also by JJ and her partner Mike. She had noticed the cat blogs and cat days and thought this appropriate - it is! The card is made from paper cut-outs - Amazing!

The mail inside the card is also wonderful - JJ says she imports her sketches into photoshop and alters them according to her MOOD (thats us girl's huh!), working back into them. There is VERY fine stitch work happening here.

I was supposed to be 'Kim' of all people... BUT my mothers sister whose daughter is about a month older than me pinched the name... O well, wonder how the world may have been different?? Does J.J. stand for something??? :-)

P.S. J.J.'s how I've always been known, it was written as such in the newspaper that day I was born alongside a screaming photo of me shortly after being thrust into the world...
