Also from Diane in the same envelope ...

One gorgeous collage:  She included several interesting tidbits, and among those here is the main eye-catcher:

Her note is included above to show the relief it would provide here in OOB and Diane's great sensitivity to safety. As a leading trashpo…

"FigurARTive Language"--collaboration between Kerri Pullo and son Julian

This is 2/4, and also asks "What's Eating You?" Very intriguing work, Kerri and Julian:

As usual, Kerri's artful envelope must be seen also, with tidbits from inside. Thanks very much, Kerri -- …

Trashpo Buttons from Stephanie Blake, Claire Dinsmore & Diane Keys

These very cool buttons came in the mail a few days ago. Thanks very much - these must be very difficult to make as they are less than an inch in diameter!

Haptic Werewolf strikes again...and again today!

Another trip to the post office to pick up a SECOND package from Hamburg!

Zombie Kitty Kawaii is visiting Greece, so she has been helping me unpack Herr Erni's gifts!

What a nice box inside!…

Mail Art Martha: Hommage à Dean Marks

This has to be the best Mail Art I have ever received.  Wait a second, it's my mail art that I sent to Martha !  So let me get this straight.  One receives Mail Art, then makes it better and then sends it back to the person who sent it?  Maybe I should have increased the explosive charges when I had the chance!

Of course what Martha has done here is to reply to all of my fire questions and statements.  And she did a great job of turning it around and making it funnier.…

Received from Carina, Finland--Be Safe II

Yeah, there's always something lurking: always something under the bed or a dude smoking under a car tire. You know I appreciate your concern, dear Carina. And thanks for the great mail art!

Serious Cerealism from the Haptic Werewolf

Well, of course, first there is the package!(red and green...what, no blue?( Aha, "PRIORITY" is blue!)

Art work and philosophical moments for the postal gal clerk at the post office pick-up counter to examine:

Kerri Pullo: Sometimes I joke when things aren't funny plus more

Well nothing funny here.  This is a serious piece, and it's mine all mine!  The scan doesn't do it justice, but the frame is a glossy silver paint which brings out the 1.5 million (yes, I counted them) small ink dots.  Ad the string is the thing that brings it all together.  A delight indeed.

And it doesn't stop there, the back;…

Marie Wintzer: Rock n' scroll and the spoon without a needle

As the saying goes; "those who live by the scroll, die by the scroll".  Or is that the needle?  In this case there are no needles, but the ever present paperclip that has no purpose of being there at all.  Yes, deep meaning here of what one is and what one is suppose to do.  (Note to self: Don't write blogs before breakfast.)

An ad for one of the first color…

Cheryl H. and her Fish Net ...

No these are not Cheryl's fish net stockings!  But rather a clever idea for the fruit bags that the rest of us throw away.  It came in a clear envelope and all the cutout dots dance around when you shake it.  (Note to self: "Shake it" and "fish net stockings" should never be mentioned in the same blog.)

Thank you Cheryl, Fun & very…

Jon challenges the postal guys

Okay, Jon Foster sent one of his great tape transfer cards: "We are all here at school". The challenge comes with the backside, he just wrote "Straße 9" , that would be "road 9" - but hats off! The card made it, - maybe the postal guys already think "this looks weird, has to be for this Svenja"... Thanks Jon, it's great and funny!…
