Marie Wintzer: Rock n' scroll and the spoon without a needle

As the saying goes; "those who live by the scroll, die by the scroll".  Or is that the needle?  In this case there are no needles, but the ever present paperclip that has no purpose of being there at all.  Yes, deep meaning here of what one is and what one is suppose to do.  (Note to self: Don't write blogs before breakfast.)

An ad for one of the first color cameras.  And you thought it was only the film that made the difference.

The golden spoon, and if you weren't born with one of these babies in your month, well what can I say?  The spoon comes from a story of which I always purchased for my mother those souvenir spoons during my travels.  I got one in every place except for Japan.  So now the collection is complete.

Neither Marie or myself know what these tube are for.  Maybe some collection items like fridge magnets.

Thank you Marie, the smile continues every day while I eat my corn flakes.

I think it might gain a certain antique look if you don't wash it. A kind of 'patine du temps', you see. But then again, this might also poison the Marks family and guests.

Ya Ya, we both know how those flea markets work.  Besides, I plan to keep it for the rest of my life.  Do you think it is dishwasher safe?  It didn't come with any instructions!

Oh, have more corn flakes, Dean. I'm glad your collection is now complete with the spoon from world-famous Wakoshi. In a few years it will be very valuable, you can sell in at the flea market for a fortune! :-))

Katerina & others, no the tubes are really small.  Like the would have a dose of sugar in them.  Or just collectable things.

And to have received a golden spoon from Japan...
