Recent Arrivals

Four cool pieces from around the globe. First off a zen cookie from Mim in Virginia with a sort of blackboard effect. Received from Thom Courcelle_12.2011

I received an amazing fiber art post card from Thom...it is a beautiful knitted pattern with woven threads, ends tied on top leaving the knot and tied ends exposed for depth and added texture!  The back is knitted collected pieces tied together; little star stickers "and magic"  paper clipped in a clear plastic enclosure.  Also enclosed were little confetti pieces and a wonderful paperdoll pull out note card...  How ingenious!!…

The Art of Throwing Away

I have always had a collectors mind in wich I have put great meaning into material things. From "Dancing" friend Svenja Wahl

Ms. Wahl has sent another humorous piece to tickle my funny bone...

The text overlaying that funny print photograph says, "New mail art especially for you! Your dancing IUOMA friend, Svenja."

The reverse side of this hand-made card has another [actual] black-and-white photograph of lumberjacks... possibly doing a pole dance??!?...…
