Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: For the 10th anniversary of the Acadian Festival, I wanted to launch an international Mail Art on the Acadia.
It appears to me like a different way to pay tribute to these Acadians soldiers, often forgotten by the History, who have risked their lives during the landing of June 6th, 1944, to free Juno Beach's zone in Normandy.

J'ai mis le lien du site de la Semaine Acadienne géré par le Président de ce comité, Monsieur Arnaud BLIN, ce n'est pas mon site personnel, je tenais à le préciser.

Pour te répondre, je ne suis pas de cette culture; si j'ai décidé de m'investir dans un projet pour ce festival, c'est parce que temporairement sans emploi, j'ai voulu apporter mon aide à cette association qui me tient à cœur.

Le festival a lieu dans la ville où je passe mes vacances depuis que je suis enfant. Je souhaitais rendre hommage à ces Acadiens, souvent méconnus et oubliés par l'Histoire, faire connaitre leur histoire, leur mère patrie, leur culture, d'une façon plus ludique et artistique pour que le message soit divulgué à un plus grand nombre!
