Scans can only capture so much -- I see a whimsical character in the first one, it's made of white paint which sits more thickly (as well as being glossy) atop the colors as though it is oil and they are water based. …

These are images of a fantastical and & beautiful mailart.  The first image is all three pieces.  The next image is the inside of the envelope.  Tara used oil pastels (I think, but not certain) to conceal and reveal the contents of the page.  I love the colors, and flowing movement of the drawing.  The last image shows the Emperor (I deemed him that), with his army stationed below amidst more color and textured, crumpled colored papers.  The background of tiny blue patterned dots…

so, the official DADALand egg art facilitator (Juan Petry) appointed me an official "egg holder", and sent me these cutouts to transform and then let fly from the nest. the incubation process took a little bit of time, but eventually i came up with six of one -
