Received from Tara Odorizzi in Oakland, CA

These are images of a fantastical and & beautiful mailart.  The first image is all three pieces.  The next image is the inside of the envelope.  Tara used oil pastels (I think, but not certain) to conceal and reveal the contents of the page.  I love the colors, and flowing movement of the drawing.  The last image shows the Emperor (I deemed him that), with his army stationed below amidst more color and textured, crumpled colored papers.  The background of tiny blue patterned dots completes the trio, and harmonizes the ensemble.  This was such an unexpected treat to receive as Tara and I have not exchanged mail for many months.  This is a great example of creative inspiration.  Oh, and there was also a lovely crazy note but I do not believe in sharing personal writings here in the blog.  Lucky me!!!
