Mystery solved. I picked up the envelope 1/8 but there was no return address, no note, nothing inside to identify re who sent it. Initials that could have been DB or CB on some papers. I immediately sent a query on my profile page at sendsomething.net, assuming it probably came from someone there. Wrong. Thanks so much ... And now you will see how clueless I am - is this part of a group thing that I should do something with? Maybe I missed a step here. No matter what, again thank you, and with a little direction I shall go forward.
Hi Carl--I visited the San Francisco Center for the Book yesterday. I found your entry and thought you might like to see it on display. It is located in the third case towards the back of the gallery space. The exhibit was beautifully organized--see second photo.

Carl--I see that you have a piece in the 'mail/art/book' exhibit. Jon Foster & I collaborated on a book and it was accepted--there are photos on Mypage, IUOMA. If you are not planning to visit San Francisco for the show, I'll be taking pictures and posting them. I'll be sure to look for your mail art.
