Mail-Artist since:

My Website (without http://):
Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I started a mail-art project, called the C-Post Project, because In this world of far-reaching standardization I think it is important that we honor the ability of humankind to create unique artwork. This project is about showing this quality.
I am a Dutch artist and started an envelope series to send to artists all over the world that have inspired me.
Participants will receive an envelope with a mono/multi print and they can return one back (in any which way they like). In addition, I would love to find a favorite poem/quote/saying/motto to go with it.

The creation of the C-Post Project of course will take time. After at least one year I will organize an exhibition of the received materials as a colorful reminder that people all over the world are and will be connected.
And that there is beauty everywhere!

Hello Carien, I accept your c-post project. But I will subvert your idea a little. I'll send you a tile. As you will know, the tiles that are associated with a decorative art from Portugal were initially Moors or Arabs and later a commodity that in the 17th century came from Holland to Portugal. It is something that connects our two countries. I hope you like the idea.
