Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: These are my people, and making stuff is what I do: currently letterpress printing and fauxstage stamps. I am so lucky to have a perforator! Proprietor of Audax Press.

Disclaimer: I am unironically "woke." If you send me something that I think is racist or sexist or exploitative or dehumanizing, there's a better than 50:50 chance that I will say so (I hope); this does NOT mean I think you are a bad person! It does mean I think you have probably led a sheltered life and need to get out more. Consider how your words and actions affect others, especially those with less power and status than you, ESPECIALLY those who are in physical danger due to being who they are. Not remaining silent when faced with unconscious disrespect of others, or worse yet, conscious disrespect, is a charge put upon me that I may not deny. Silence is violence. I'm guilty too. No one's perfect, but we must try to do better. And we must succeed. Sorry, not sorry.
