CJtheKid -- thanks so much; glad you liked the photos! :-) Just a small taste, to be sure. Will send some mail to your box, of that you can be sure... (yippee!)
Oh no Oh no Oh no! I hope that no CJKs were harmed in the obtaining of aforementioned Flux postcard? Do crackerjacks bruise easily? I certainly hope not...
Hi, the list was made last weekend so anything that has come in this week is not there. I've been sick which is the reason I haven't answered your last message on IUOMA, I will contact Inge and Torsten tomorrow to check out what has arrived in the week, I'll get back to you.
Hi CJK, I went along the street to the house of Torsten and Inge this evening and made a list of incoming mail and your card was there, thanks for the sending. Rod

On the 18th of September 2011 the Art Museum of the Canton of Thurgau in Switzerland will have an Opening for the exhibition "Conquer the Living Rooms of the World." This is a retrospective of my artistic activities from almost the last 40 years.
One section of the exhibition is dedicated to my activity in the world-wide Mail Art Network. I am inviting you to send me one of your typical creatively altered letter envelopes and one of your sheets of stamps. The deadline is the 10th of September. Your contribution will be integrated into the exhibition and will become a part of the museum's collection.
This personal invitation is being extended to around 60 of my "old" Mail Art partners with whom I am currently still in contact with through Facebook.
hey Cracker Bagman here ,I'm new at using one computer to correspond, but i'm glad 2 learn and get back in touch whit old friends .as soon i learn how 2 send you M A i will,
i still believe the old way is better but 2 damn expensive,so 4 now .regards Bagman
thank you for your lines and the interest you have in one of my older stamped works.
"A long time ago" I had/participated in mandala exhibitions. For this I did among other the piece you refer to. Michael Leigh has got a copy of a photo of it on a postcard, I think.
Gladly I will send you a postcard too.
Here and there I read with much interest about your activities, especially in the music sphere, and I remember ...
In the moment only some remarks back as my pc shuts down often and I have to try to give it to a repair shop this morning ...
I have had in the cellar an etching press of my own where I did "high art" etchings ...and artistamp etchings.
In the meantime for several reasons my art is only mail art done with my deepest credo by the assistance above all of my pc. And I have donated my etching press with all my equipment to a school where one of my grandchildren goes..
Yes I made artistamp back in the days when printers were dot-matric. I used to print out the stamps and on the same sheet print the BASIC programme that generated the stamp. If you want copies (I have them (somewhere) scanned ready for ink-jet printing) send me mail address.
Hi. Crackerjack...so happy belated birthday is in order:) love the stamps. Tha mail art romances piece was made by the enchanting david stafford. I loved it so much I framed it and hung it on the wall. I admire people who can make great stamps. Those i have made have been pretty limited. Will send you mail if you send me your address. Best regardszz
Am headed to Chicago today to hang a Mailart show at the Art Institute,
will mail out some stampsheets & such to you as soon as I get back on Wednesday.
Really excited abt. Ginny's book ... I wrote a small thing on Contemporary Fluxus stamps.. unfortunately very incomplete, could use a lot of research in that area.
How nice to find you on here after all these years. Yes, I am a blast from your past and have often thought about you over the years. I was the first student at Bellevue West to have a mail art show in 1980-81 ... and a scholarship recipient to SCAD. Have I jarred your memory any? I'm glad to see you're still CrackerJack Kid.
Yes, after three years at SCAD, I continued on as a graphic artist for ten years until my return to school to pursue healthcare - I got tired of eeking out a living and not enjoying what I was doing. I completed my undergrad degree in health sciences and my graduate work in Public Administration (I honestly thought at the time that my calling was as a public servant). I now design and support clinical software for the surgical setting; I've done this now for 18 years and I enjoy what I do tremendously.
How interesting that you remembered my desire to go into art therapy - my stints over the years include teaching art to developmentally-challenged, the profoundly hearing-impaired, the terminally ill, and the elderly; these have been among my most rewarding experiences.
Regarding old classmates, yes, I have been in touch with many of them via Facebook over the past few years; some of them from Art Club. You might remember Warren Johnson (graduated '80) - he lives not far from me in the Bay Area although we have yet to get together. Warren's an art and marketing director for an engineering company in Chico. David Butson (graduated in '82) went on to become a very successful art director for a publishing firm based in Hong Kong; he still lives there and now has his own businesses.
Thanks for your snail mail address ... I'll have to get my creative juices flowing - I'm about all dried up - LOL! Until then, my email address is wedevaney@comcast.net.
I'm so glad to have connected with you after all these years - you were such an inspiration to me and a friend. BTW, I had NO idea you sang - and you're pretty good!
No kidding?? Imagine that. Thanks much for your submission. Hope all is well with you in your corner of the country. I gave your email address to another student who graduated in '80. Hopefully, he's in touch. Later, CrackerJack!
HI Cracker, We are no longer in London- live in the wilds of Cheshire now and have been for the last 13 years! Hope your girls have a fab trip. Our Archie is off to uni in Brighton too so we know how you feel about the fledglings flying the nest! Cheers! Michael
I use exchange mail with you back in the 90's ( formally Rick and Karen ) I have gotten back into mail art. Email me your address, I would love to send you one of my new projects, artistamps. Glad to see you are still around. Oh Boy told me EZ is no longer doing mail art, to bad. Hope to hear from you. Blessed Father Rick
Yes, Frenetik was edited by me, but I was very busy with mail art, my music label "corrosive tapes" and organising concerts of alternative music, performances, ... in my city Tournai ... I decided to stop a great part of my activities in the beginning of the 90's when I had two daughters ... now they have 23 and 24 years old ... I have sometimes what time to spend ...
