Nothing is happening in this Group. I am ending it by suspending all the members, including you. Let me know if you want to take over the management of the Group and breathe some new life into it. Regards, Val

Vinyl LP or 45 rpm "naked" in the Greek post would never
arrive at its destination..
All vinyl must be well wrapped, heavy cardboard supported,
disguised as "Printed Matter" and then sent to Sigean.
even re-using US bubble envelopes is highly recommended...
Still wondering if they will arrive safely :-0
We'll see by next week? They are in the mail as of yesterday!
From the UK 'Daily Telegraph' of 17/10/2014:
Vinyl LPs on track to break 20 year record
Vinyl LPs are expected to achieve their biggest sales for almost 2 decades with music industry observers predicting that more than one million will have been sold by the end of the year.
..The last time vinyl broke into seven figure sales was in 1996 with 1,083,206...Vinyl album sales hit an all-time low in 2007 with only 205,000 LPs sold. But sales picked up the following year and have crept up since....
etc
Thank you, Katerina, Ernies & Petrol Petal.
That now brings the IUOMA total received and expected to 10+...including Dean, but how could we ever exclude Dean?!
Hey! I can't guarantee it's on vinyl, cardboard, or a a saucer. Nor can I guarantee that I did it. Or guarantee anything else for that matter.
Wilhelm. (Who will ask Val to make some more. Someone has to, to keep this Group going. And very, very few other people are producing any Vinyl Art at all. In fact, without Vinyl Val, this GRoup and this record would have ended a long, long time ago)
The apple in the middle must have been shot by Wilhelm Tell, so to see!
p.s. Where's the vinyl?!??
Who (or how can you) guarantee(s) us visitors that you didn't paint on round cardboard instead of a real LP? Or even maybe on an enlarged compact disc?!?
Vinyl, more Vinyl, please! :-)
Two more for Dean to make claims on.
(But I will refuse them, of course)
This one is called 'Apple Tree':
And this one comes to you rrom the archives of Sigean's Road Department. It is called 'Alternative Traffic Light Configurations', and shows various attempts to come up with something different from the usual red, yellow and green one. Seen one set of traffic lights, seen them all....
Welcome to Vinyl Art, Neil!
if you'd like to contribute some Vinyl to my forthcoming Exhibition look at the details in the Discussion here:
