Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
My mother, who goes by the name dosankodebbie, has been involved in a style of Japanese mail art called Etegami. As a result, she had become connected to a wide variety of artists from all over the world. I thought that was brilliant, so I became involved myself.

l3.08.14 Dare Mister Asher Davidson, "Physics". Wow!! Yes, I've heard of it. Plus too, I once got a card or two from your Mom (...someplace now in the closet archival files). I think she is a very important mail artist... I wonder..????...the primary source for re-introducing Etagami into  "Mail art" ??? If I can get my act  (my " art" ) together , I'll send something  less than scientific to you.Best to you, Richard Canard

Wow! I "know" your mother. In fact, I have on my studio wall, at this very moment, one of her Etegami. A pigeon, with motto. So cool! Glad you joined us.

Want to support the IUOMA with a financial gift via PayPal?

The money will be used to keep the IUOMA-platform alive. Current donations keep platform online till 1-nov-2020.   If you want to donate to get IUOMA-publications into archives and museums please mention this with your donation. It will then be used to send some hardcopy books into museums and archives. You can order books yourself too at the IUOMA-Bookshop. That will sponsor the IUOMA as well.
