Now it takes 3 or more days to travel 15 miles down the road!

I think it is just that SF  is a postal hub. Remember the days when mail only used to take three days to get from Point A to Point B???

Pam, I was surprised hers came so quickly from San Francisco. She just mailed them Monday.

This is exciting!  I mailed mine, so hopefully you'll receive them soon.  They only have to travel from Massachusetts to Ohio.  Although, I have had things delivered sooner to places farther away, so I guess you never know with the postal system.

Congratulations! I know who Miss Hinchcliff is. How exciting! Did you expect her to be sending you something or was she one of the "lurkers" who you thought might send in something as well? I HOPE mine gets there in time. (On the s-l-o-w boat from the Pacific Northwest... UGH!)
