Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Just a little message to mention that, if you go onto the website today (www.mailart365.com) and post something you may notice that the posting interface has changed a bit. Wordpress are pushing out a new style publishing interface so I've launched it on the site a little early. Do let me know if you have any technical problems with this new interface

Had a (little) flurry of people joining up on the site at the moment. Welcome to Rani, who returns after a few years away, and Danathesmallone

It is indeed lovely to see so many posts coming up at the moment. 300. Now the goal is in sight.

I've been running the site now for nearly 10 years and it's fascinating to see where people drop off. I think we had a chat at 200 when I mentioned that the number 200 seems to be the final drop off point for some. I'm not sure why but I've seen people get to 200, then just collapse from exhaustion!

However, 300 is definitely the home stretch. Not seen anyone get to 300 and not to 365 yet.

Here is my #300 I just posted. I am now seeing the end goal!

I am committed to finish by the end of the year. Just creating, creating...

Some of the  actual mailing will be caught up after posting for now on, I will be posting every Saturday for the week. Great to see the site is active again with new/returned folks :)

That's great Robin! I've sent you a message with the details of how to get your 365 up. Let me know if you need any help or ask anything here!

Good to see you, Andy! Greetings to the family, and always keep "365" going strong. (Has it been 7 years , 'did this in 2011? wow)

...all I can say to the newbies is:

"create everyday"

and also I learned from Andy's 365 group to organize, list who sent and to whom i sent blog, etc. Then with Mim and a few others we did a SECOND 365, and challenged ourselves to reach #1000!

Helped get into this Eternal Network and is continuing great fun!

Thank you for posting Jan!

I just uploaded a couple of more of these on 365 site.

Lately I have been feeling a little lonely there as it seems it’s mostly me posting (nudge nudge, everyone).

Hi Andy,

I am excited and looking forward to creating art on a regular basis. I know that creating 365 postcards will definitely keep my creativity clock ticking. I signed up on www.mailart365.com last week and I haven't heard back yet. I am new to the process, so I wonder if my request to join was received. Can you advise me how to proceed? Thanks
