Hannah Höch (fan club)

Information

Hannah Höch (fan club)

Some mail artists add a stamp print to their mail art, saying 'Hannah Hoch Fan Club'.

Until I received these stamp prints I never had heard of this artist, who was born 1st of November 1889. She has been a collage / photomontage pioneer. She was part of the Dada movement and also became involved in the De Stijl art movement.

For anyone who has a Hannah Höch Fan Club Stamp (and interested others, I haven't one), this group can be the place to share your thoughts and mail art, tributing to and/or inspired by Hannah Höch.

Hannah Hoch birthday box little "presents" have been sent out from Greece as of yesterday, Monday.

And FIRST arrival "present" came today in the mail from Cascadia ArtPost!

I have a nice box ready and all will be opened on November 1st!

The first four 'presents' have arrived. Treasure after treasure. I have found an old box that will do as a temporary home and already it is looking better than good . . .

Off to the postbox again in a moment . . .

Keep up the good work gang . . .

I am still managing to keep up with the participants list so if anyone needs names or addresses just ask.

There may still be people who just send thing without 'signing up'. so you should allow for surprises and last minute arrivals.  With a bit of luck everyone's box will be completely different, both inside and out, so the whole thing looks like being quite a success..

AND : fat envelopes by Carmen and Cascadia artpost arrived! I HAD to open them ( weather is frightful) and the stamps are really fabulous and the collage of Carmen is wonderful. I think of installing a little birthday shrine with these wonderful presents in my kitchen.

Hi birthday party, I have been away for 3 days and now there are really a lot of people more on the list! Thank you Mary Anne for adding the list to the HH fan club! There are some participants, that I cannot find in IUOMA and their addresses are unknown to me and I have not the time to chase for them. So I will wait till their envelope arrives with a good written address and then send my HH birthday present back, okay?!! Otherwise they can send a mail.
