for 3 minutes the 'new' IUOMA member Julie Konate was on the IUOMA-group. Discoverd that she is a spammer though. So when you receive an e-mail from julia.konate@yahoo.fr ignore it and mark it as SPAM.

She writes like:

From: "Miss Melissa Konate" <julia.konate@yahoo.fr>
Reply-To: meliss.konate@yahoo.fr
Date: Sat, 23 Nov 2013 13:51:57 -0000
Subject: Greetings From Miss Melissa Konate



Hello Dear,

I am Miss Melissa Konate, I solicit that you to assist me to the transfer
of the sum of $16M USD. I want you to help me and move this money to your
country and also for you to guide me and invest this money on good Project
in your country.

Kindly contact me through my private email if you can represent my
interest or if there is any lucrative Business in your area of
specialization to enable me detail you well about your role in this
transaction and how we shall transfer this money. For your assistance, i
have set aside 15% of the total sum as your commission.

a spammer is sending this message to some IUOMA-members. Please ignore them since he is not looking for anything good. The message reads:

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( mr.frankkwabena@yahoo.com.hk ) for the full details.

I see that one "member" is bombarding new members...

but he has done that in the past. Just hope it

is not a spammer using his name!

The spammers get clever. One used the name and details of a member and used that to get in with a different e-mail address. I didn't see it at first, and then the new member changed their profilename to start spamming with private messages to several members.... So one member less. Sorry for those who received the e-mail.

Yes, a spammer for sure. Only 1 hour after she started spamming her account was removed, and therefore all her (or was it a faking he?) postings too. If you got an e-mail too. Sorry for that. Spammers sometimes come through by using a fake (and real looking) profile.

Ruth Assin seemed to be a spammer, no connections to mail-art he/she has been removed.

I just joined the site this week, and the first message I received was from Richeleine Gandon, the same message somebody else stated they received below, asking me to email them because they have something they'd like to share with me. I also believe it to be spam.
