Just got a reply from the Moon:
"Don't be fooled by the August 27th hoax
that Mars will pair up with me and you'll
see two moons in the night sky"
Oh,no,no,no...we have already checked Snopes, or
Truth-or-Fiction, or Urban Legend, and we KNOW
that there will NOT be two moons on August 27.
This email-rumor has been circulating since 2003
and we moon-people do not continue such erumors! :)
(But we are waiting for that Sept. 4th full moon, right?)

Saw Mars in the south east near the horizon at 10:30 pm (22:30) yesterday. Very impressive.

Maybe the moon is radioactive...might be a good place for vermin of all types.

Last night saw some falling stars, Judy. The northern Greek sky was cloudy the night before. But the place to be is on a Greek island, in the summer: clear skies and no light pollution...the stars are like diamonds!
(Ah, why I loooove Greece!)
