Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Mim, are you reading this? Tell Noah, I may start "A Leaf a Day"book! Funny, Prettylily! Must agree: "365" really, really, really gives one a jump-start for "making"! I will not put on the brakes with #365...will continue and continue.!

Yep.  Big fun.  A real jump start to creative life.  Katerina, When are your books "365 Uses For Sand Paper" and "A Leaf A Day" being released?  Ha, ha!  You KNOW I have loved them all!   I'm happy I signed on.  My book "Sticky Fingers" release date is not public yet.

Hey you guys.  Finally I am catching up with the mail and the 365 blog posts.  For now at least.  I actually surprised myself!  Now to address and get some in the mail before I leave for vacation.  That is the next challenge.

Hey folks - Anyone know of any good mailart Christmas cards I can use for a blog post? I want a really stunning and original piece to go up on a blog at my schoolswaps site, and I usually like to ask you guys on MA365 first!

"The falling leaves....drift by my window...." for the final count down to "365"

'Glad the autumn card arrived, Mary Alice! I ended up making several for the same date in order to send to 365ers during these final days. Thus, like Mim, I have definitely made and sent way more than 365! Aack!

Ha-ha, Katerina - I am glad to know that you are not taking a train to Athens GA or OH - that would be some long ride!  And quite wet, too!

I received your very lovely autumnal postcard yesterday.  You are so very sweet to remember this slacker of a mail artist!!!  I  lost my mojo somewhere.  Maybe on the New Jersey Tpke, returning from VA...hmmmm...but I am working on getting it back.

JJ - thank you, too!!!!  "They call her:  mabb" on the address line - great chuckle!  Reminds me of the old detective or cowboy shows...I think one of them had an intro like that...my memory fails me right now...

Some mail artist travel to NYC, another one trains to Athens (and not the one in Georgia or Ohio, either!) MY Greek train does NOT ahve wifi, unfortunately, just being happy that it went on time, was delayed ONLY one hour and that my little hotel here near the train station, has internet corner ;-)

Have a nice time in NYC, gals!

And there are only 15 days to gooooooo! Getting to the final-count-down 365!
