Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh good, we can't break up this great group!

Oh, right, just did 8 cards for 2 days! Hee, hee, heee...that is because I saw that I needed to send to some 365ers before the #365 too! Instead of being "tired" as we near the finish line, it seems that we get more energy to create MORE! Thank you, Andy for this project, you've been quite an inspiration, and I'll still hang around after November 30, to see the art that continues into the next year.

I think I've missed sending mail to some of the later members of this group. Ooops. I'll have to look back and see if I can squeak some in before the end of Nov. Oh wait, there's always time for more Mail Art!

Thanks, Andy, for the information on addresses and also for all you've done to make this crowd happy and successful.  It's also wonderful to learn that you're not going to hit 365 on November 30.  Here I've been saying to myself, "Heck, Andy's going to make it and he got MARRIED this year."  Funny the games we play with ourselves.  I too think we should have A Something on November 30.

Mim, we cross posted.  I'm still in.  Thanks for the help today with the smartphone blogging.  I think the solution for me is to take a photo and email it to myself.  That way I can send the cards out from a remote locations and wait until I am home to blog them.  I don't text and already have future work loaded in and more that I need to add to blogger.  Next step to the PO tomorrow with a big mailout.  It takes me forever to address, stamp and mail.

How do I enter the contest??

Great fellowship, Andy.  Thanks for keeping it all going and thanks to all that contribute and continue to do so.  Welcome to the new folks!  Many of us will still be here, after December 1st..  My personal 365 didn't start until Feburary - so I still have a ways to go.

Don't forget- those of you who are continuing put your name in the drawing for my MailArt365 rubber stamp. I'll use a random number generator to choose the winner. Only 5 people have entered so far.

Hey Postmuse, I've just read your post and I'm hugely touched. It's been a GREAT year. I'm nowhere near 365 pieces personally but I've had such a blast from being at the helm of such a great project and just watching others create their pieces.

The feeling of pride when I see the numbers creeping up for all of you is hard to express. As a teacher I always loved watching my pupils growing and it's kinda strange watching a load of artists all over the world growing and developing. It's beyond my wildest dreams actually, and I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for taking part.

That sounds like a strange ending speech type thing, and it's odd to be writing such a thing, but I am deeply touched and just wanted to let it out.

*blush*

As far as I know the most up to date place is the Our Addresses forum on the MA365 group, but people are most likely to update their own profiles first I reckon.

Postmuse used to keep a spreadsheet, and she is fabulously well organised, but with the comings and goings on MA 365 it's quite hard to keep up.

I can hardly believe it's only 10 days til the official "finish line" - Of course, we're not gonna end there, but I'd love to hear ideas for what to do on the day
