Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Thanks Sarah. I then shall continue this noble tradition. So then.... who wants my much used MA365 rubber stamp?

I will definitely continue MomKat and probably at a similar pace. Thank you so much for all the great feedback, it's such an honour to have been able to inspire artists.I even feel like one myself these days!

Yes Andy, Rebecca asked everyone who wanted it to out their names forward, and pulled one out of the hat. I inherited hers!

Congratulations to Kerri, too!

That is amazing...it shows the others that it really can be done.

And after #365...well, like Andy says,

ya just continue, because now "mail art itself is the aim"!

Whahoooo! Andy has completed 365!!!

Congratulations, that is fantastic!

Remember when you started this group...way back then?

You are an inspiration...(and now you will continue to 1000?? :-)

...and congratulations to Elena, who supported you throughout!

OK folks a quick question - Rebecca you may be able to answer this.

I've finished now and have a mailart365 rubber stamp, which came from Mim. I can't remember what the "tradition" was for passing these on, but I do feel that it now needs to be passed on.

So what do we do? I vaguely remember Rebecca pulling  a name out of a hat or something...

Congratulations and thank you, Andy. We all learned a lot by taking on a daily practice, by making, and learning that perfection is meaningless - there's always tomorrow. Can't wait to see what you'll do next. And thank you for getting the idea of 365 Mail Art and somehow getting us to ride along with you. What a journey. Because of you, well, I got to meet you, and Elena, and Katerina, and Postively Postal, and Dean - in person - and lots of others in spirit. YAY! and Yay, for Kerri, too.
