Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh many thanks for the photos....I work for a wonderful neighborhood paper here in SF called The Noe Valley Voice. It has been publishing for almost 30 years and really covers this neighborhood -- I have met so many interesting people.

That's it Kiera, that's where I learned about the switch up on the sewing needle. Thanks for posting that.

Pamela, will get you some negatives & slides in the mail tomorrow. What newspaper do you work for? I run a small weekly for Scripps.

I would love to have negatives/slides if you are offering. I'm a photographer 9who still has a darkroom) and I work for a newspaper so I can think of all kinds of fun things to do with photo related stuff...thanks so much.

In the states only please, on the negatives & slides. Cost of shipping something like that in any quantity out of the country would be rather steep.

Can anyone use old strips of photographic negatives in their collages. I run a newspaper, and have thousands in drawers that need to be cleaned out. I just hired a new editor, and am trying to get her office in shape before she goes to work on the 21st. Also have slides. I loathe throwing something away that can possibly be used. If you can use either, please let me know with your address.

I'll send them along.

Postmuse your card to Elena arrived today! What a lovely idea and Elena intends to add it to her favourites wall first (another of yours to join that wall!) for a while, as she's too fond of it to butcher it right away!
