What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

PostMuse, - I WILL come to Pittsburgh sometime this summer/fall, if only to deliver supplies to CMU! I would love to meetup with you.

East Coast Mailart365 meetups - please include me. I'm in Boston, but have car, will travel. I live on the school academic year, so some times of year are total mayhem and chaos, but the other month is awesome!

Andy, let us know what time of year and where you are thinking of going so we can all help you plan! I'm sure some of us would like to meet up with you and Elena if we can. The bad thing about the US is, PostMuse is right, our public transportation is not the best for a country this large. Some parts are ok like the east coast but other parts it maybe hard without a car depending on where you want to go. Let us know.

The earliest we will get to UK is autumn of 2012, but if anyone is planning a trip anywhere on the east coast of US, please let me know ... have car, will travel! And if you are in the Pittsburgh area, we have a spare room ... but we live outside the city (and there is NO public transportation) and you would need a car (ours is a tiny thing and doesn't not seat more than two comfortably) if you want to sightsee. Of course, if you want to just hang out at our house and just play in my art room ... have at it!

No fear Katerina - your post has now been replaced as requested! Looking forward to seeing you in September, I'll book that time in our calendar

Oops, there is a mistake on my  today's Peace Cranes to Japan...sorry about that!

June 19 should be an image of the card I sent to Mim (which was already posted???)

and the Peace Cranes are for today, June 20th!

As I had such a great time yesterday with Andy, Elena, Cris and Vic I am definitely up for another London mailart meet up and those days at the end of September sound good. Then there is our idea for a London mailart exhibition....!

Yup those dates look fine for us Katerina. Anyone else up for a London mailart meet then? We're probably going statteside next year though so any help mapping the thing out would be really useful US folk
