What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

A quick pop in to say hi!  I just returned from the PO and one of the items was a lovely piece of Sandpo, from Katerina!  Thank you Katerina!!  LOVE IT!

I am delighted that my grandson, Robert, is here and had the opportunity to "feel that Sandpo".  He painted this morning and is now in my mail art room "making mail art"!   Yesterday, he went through all of the mail art I have received from you guys and he really loves it all!  Can't wait to see what he comes up with.  Hope everyone is staying cool.  It's pretty hot here on the East Coast.

eepy- sam dustball is getting  all his mail, and I'm not?!?

Hang on-just picked up todays's mail-"Mail Carrier With Giant Apple" was in my mailbox!  Wheeee!  And it's addressed to "MABB!"

I will speak w/mailcarrier still....

Now, must run around Cohoes & tell everybody, "See, we're a big apple, too!  Look, it's right here on this pc from crisispanty!  Look, look!"

TY, cp!  I love it - the b/w background photo is beautiful....

What!   As far as I know here in Canada they deliver to the address, not the name. I mean how do they know how many people with how many names live there?  Definitely have a chat with your carrier.

I get mail addressed to many names.  eepy, Mossy Bliss, Loon Island Embassy...     Oh, and my real name too.

Even Sam Dustball gets mail here, and he's a cat!

Hello, all:  FYI, I think that my mail carrier is not delivering my mail unless it has my "real" name on it.  Mim and Laura sent me cards and they were returned.  The common denominator appears to be "mabb" instead of M.A. Bermingham, or similar.  Stinker!!  How many pieces of mail have I brought back to the p.o. because it had the names of former tenants on it!?!?

I'll speak to the carrier asap, and see what's up.

I've looked back over the IOUMA mail I've received, and I see that the ones that came thru all have my last name on them.  So sorry for the inconvenience!

Has this happened to anybody else?
