THIS DISCUSSION GROUP IS STARTING TO WIND DOWN...
The Rebel ATCers have had an awesome 1st round of Buddy Jams; be it 2 person, 3 person or 4. We have gotten some wonderful results and would love for more members to participate. Please take a look at what has already been posted on the Rebel ATC page.
Everyone has decided that we would like to keep better track of the Jams progress, and to do this we started this discussion group. Also we can have all participants in one general location, so there will be no need for scrolling through lots of posts.
I am going to send a "group" message to all our members. If, in turn, the members could forward that message through their friends' list. That way, we can invite non-members as well. The only drawback to non-members participating is that they personally will not be able to share their posts unless they become a member. :-/
A wonderful multiple jam endeavor started by Fleur Helsingor
William M. was kind enough to put this list together...here are the current participants:
PLEASE GO TO THE DISCUSSION SET UP BY WILLIAM IN THIS GROUP TO VIEW THE CURRENT JAMMERS LIST. YOU CAN STILL POST YOUR WORK IN THIS DISCUSSION...THANK EVERYONE...KEEP HAVING FUN!Tags:
I'm so sorry to hear you are leaving us, Linda. I've enjoyed our jams!
I had two beautifully crafted ATC from Fleur. It took me ages to decide what to do I did not want to ruin them. I hope I have managed something suitable. I could see planets and outerspace so I added stars, the number 43 and a gallactic traveller. I am sure that in its golden space suit he carries a guide to the galaxy.
There is a lot of glitter but it does not show in the photo.
I put this in the wrong place but I could copy and paste. I'll go back and delete it fromteh main site.
That's wonderful!
And this was an old one I sent Fleur who added the bird on the left and the feather.
I am sorry the photo is terrible.
The new year monkey got glasses and a lovely bee and a collar too . This turned out to be a one jam card as I had sent a single to Judy as a greeting but the result is great anyway. Thank you Judy you made a monkey happy.
Love the idea of a one-jam card!
love the adds to the monkey...totally cool you guys!
Hello, i am new here and i have a question about buddy jams. This 8 card example is wonderful. Im just curious, the first person starts the background, and then mails the pieces to 8 different people??? And then how to you get them all back? I belong to an ATC group, but i have never done buddy jams before. Id love to give it a whirl! Thank you!!
the 8 card example is a little misleading. it was actually 8 separate duo buddy jams sent to different people and the ones that were sent back were then compiled into the full picture by fleur. usually a jam is done with two or three people. if duo you send two cards to someone with some sort of background. they add to the cards and one card is sent back to the originator and one you keep. in a trio jam, someone does the background on three cards, sends it to a second person who adds to them and then sends the three cards on to a third person who then adds to the cards. the third person then returns two cards to the person one and two and keeps one card for themselves. hope that helps. :)
Thank you William!
