Technical problem with email links

I can't find anywhere on the IUOMA page to get help on this. I hope it's okay to mention it here.  I receive the emails notifying me of updates in my groups and from friends. Several times I have received an email with a link to a friend's new photo uploads but when I click the "view" link, it takes me to my own page on IUOMA, not my friend's page. Since the link takes me to my own page, I then think perhaps the new photos were added to my page by mistake. But no, there are no new photos added. Any help in understanding this would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Terry

There are normally a few links in the e-mail. One is to your own profile, there also is a direct link to the place the e-mail is about. Try to read the e-mail again and fight the right link.

Thank you, Ruud. I will check this further the next time I get one of these emails. For your reference, I've copied and pasted below the entire contents of the last email in question. On the "New Content" line where it indicates Jan Hodgman added 2 photos, I clicked on "view" at the end of that line. I also tried clicking on Jan's name, but still no new photos that I could see. And like I said, the "view" link took me to my own page, where there were no new photos from Jan. This same thing happened in another email as well.
