Some of the post I did at the begining in IUOMA gave me an error after I uploaded them. Perhaps when I did upload the ones with the error I missed yours. But at the time, it is in our blog and Facebook.

and don't forget Mona...

Listening for the beating of distant alien drums.

Let's meet again in this virtual kitchen, today I'm making the vegetarian shepherds pie again, with just a few tweaks which, of course, I think will make it even better.

And, just in case you didn't get it here is the finished Mona, (for Cheryl of course) this the second  of projected 3 versions, webcam shot of model Miryam and pastel landscape.

Hi Katerina,

I hope you're enjoying retirement. Have you returned to the US for a visit since then?

I had such a busy Xmas with parties and dinners...I'm still exhausted from it all...I'm getting rested for one final dinner on New Year's Day and then I want to hibernate. We've had very cold weather and plenty of snow and ice. Today, it's mild...3 C...and much of the snow has melted.

I wish you good health and much happiness, Katerina, in 2012. Happy New Year!!!

Love, Wilma

Katerina,

Thanks so much for your christmas greeting...We're running late in that regard though soon...soon...Also...your Time mags finally went out today. They've been freezing on my car seat for two weeks. The postal people seemed hungover from the Christmas rush...Why are they so unhappy he wondered aloud? Is the future looming so large and uncertainly above them?

Bonsoir! Do you really, really have another 1500? If so, please hang on to them, or only send them to me if you have a real need to get rid of them. We have a German colleague, Janine W..., who also produces the occasional artyslide.

Did I tell you I bought a large box of slides at a flea market in the summer? It must have contained about 1500-2000, but many of them have turned about to be unsable. The guy wanted to sell them to me at the rate of €1 for 20. I said I wanted to buy the lot, and what sort of price did he have in mind? He said €15. I offered €5, thinking we would settle at €10, but he accepted my €5 offer -- egged on by his wife who was delighted to get any money at all for them.

For my 2 slide art exhibitions next year I have already made up 293 'double window' slides and 288 'single window' ones like those that you sent me (and including lots of them in that total). My initial target is 300 of each and although I am very nearly there I seem to have run out of usable material all of a sudden. But there's no rush, as the 1st exhibition isn't till May.

Last but not least...any and all hats you find will be appreciated, and, of course, the sillier they are the better.

Thanks! LuVVaL

Hooray! I'm so pleased you liked the add and pass. Your idea of posting photos of it to the 365 group was genius! I hope it makes a nice long trip through the crowd.

Bonsoir!I hope you had a really good Xmas. Bianca & Trouble would like to thank you very much for their cat card and all the confetti that you sent us...well them, as they appropriated it.

They've asked me to send you something back, and, as usual, I will obey their instructions; So, something in the post soon. Best wishes, Val
