I'm glad you liked the trains.  I am quite fond of trains myself, so it was nice to be able to send to someone else who appreciates them.

Sorry, yes, yes..."size does matter"! Smaller tassel...smaller... Ooooooh, you were comparing "tummy" size, not: big tassel ...big.... :-)

See? You should have a longer tassel like Lakis...from Dean-the American-in-Paris.

Sorry, I'm Greek!

No worries Val, I'm sure i can forgive you a little misunderstanding. That's a lot of stamps. They're just about to put the price up here in the UK, as I'm sure you've heard, not the best news ever. Not too much to be done about that, just make some art I suppose...

Catch you again in the future no doubt and good luck with your exhibition.

Jean Pierre Leaud was an amazing actor, I love him in all those Truffaut films, but there's a picture of him online that scares me to death. Anyway, thanks so much for the card, it's nice to see the movie poster in French.

Ya like the "new" me, eh? Dean Marks forced me at gun point to display my "age"! If i had a French beret, i would probably look younger? xxx

Hi Val

Thank you for your advice, very much appreciated, although I must add that I am concentrating completely on the art and I never compromise my creativity for the sake of commercialism. Sure on my website I offer some work for sale (as do you) but this is only done as a means to support my creativity. Anyone is very welcome to partake in my latest project and receive some free artwork. However some people out there are not mail artists and may be more interested in simply buying some work or helping to support my material costs.

As for the 'security' theme of my latest work, this is my artistic take on the security industry informed by my experience as a security guard based in an art studio. It's not meant to be taken completely seriously and my humour is rather tongue in cheek.

I would a shame if I were to get banned from IUOMA as I am truly interested in international creative exchanges and I see mail art as one way of giving something back to the world in which I'm fortunate enough to practice something that I love.

I hope you understand, and thank you for your time.

Kind Regards

Tomo
