Hi Karen, Glad you liked the stuff I sent. I am excited about keeping up an exchange with you - I love your work. Looking forward to when you get back from Florida. You are a fun person to know! Cheers, Test
Oh, Karen!!!! Your work is so wonderful I am abashed at my own level of competency within the ATC genre. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
BTW, if you'll notice how your envelope arrived by viewing the new pic I just posted, I think you may find it prudent to wrap your work with even greater care, as it barely made it through the mail. One of the people at our post office let me know those items I was sending other people would have to be handled differently than the average. This meant also paying just a little extra (under 20 or so cents) per letter, and asking to have them stamp it for hand process. The Post Office was concerned those works might get caught in their machinery, and were certain I didn't want any mail lost or stolen. I think we may have nearly lost your latest offering to me, by a mere whicker's breadth. Apparently, their new machinery compresses everything. This actually meant your lovely touches with metal accoutrement were pressed into cutting open the envelope--even your plastic sleeves are roughed up, one with 4 holes!
ALSO. Were you aware one end had been cut open, then taped closed with scotch tape in only 3 places? Could this be why there are only 2 ATCs in this mailing, and not 3? I would hate for any of your lovely works to be lost, in the mail or otherwise.
So when you see my next set of 3, expect to find the envelope stamped a little differently than ordinarily would be so. And I'll be trying my hand and a few different processes upcoming, so it could be a while before you get an ordinary envelope from me. (heheheh....)(rubbing hands gleefully)
My next set to you got posted this very day. Hope you'll enjoy having them.
Hi Karen!!! Thank you so much for the great piece of mail art. I received it last week and it put such a smile on my face. I'm sending you some mail love in return :) Hope your having a wonderfully creative week.
I am dismayed. We are so far behind on everything, it feels like a total time cruncher around here. Everything's in a rush!!! Thankfully, things do improve, so yours truly may well have that final card of our 3 for 3 trade ready to send by Mail Day. I'm having fun with this one. I suppose one might have done the work upon one's yucky flu sick bed, but my feelings on the subject are strong: Never knowingly send diseased art!
P.S. Are your heavy duty cards by Strathmore? I'm thinking we have some. Come to think of it, there's acid free matt board at the back of a drawer in my own home studio. Hmmmmm.......
Soon! Sorry seems such a paltry thing to say after a while of needing to say it.....
Down with something yucky at Mail Call time means we haven't caught up yet. If your next 3 to us had already arrived at the PO Box, it may have to wait as long as several days before any of us can get there. right now, two of us are sick, one's tied at home due to her asthma needing to be protected against the wildfire (2 of 'em!) smoke here and about. Our bicoastal affiliates, along with our midwest and heartland ones obviously won't be by in time. ;)
In udda woids, sorry, friend! I'm too sick to run errands. Hope to be better by next week. Some ghastly crud not worth going into here, especially if it's close to meal time. (ahem!)
Yes, yes, Karen, I got your message...and I KNOW that you sent the Happy Mail! And it really came on a day that put a smile on my face. thank you, sweetie!
On the blog I put thye question, just to see if anyone else would understand that HelloKitty could come from you! i love it! thanks xxx
Regarding trading ATCs...I am in the middle of preparing for my move in April, so I'm not making any time commitments with anyone. Perhaps after my move, I'll check back with you, k??
You are so flipping amazing. I opened that felt piece today and literally, LITERALLY got goosebumps from my ankles all the way up my arms. I Can't stop staring at it! Thank you for sharing part of your history with me- it really means so much! You will have to tell me more about these two beautiful people!!
You got the "Windmills" boekie, Karen? Glad it arrived ok...is all the SNOW gone? We have it "snowing" toonight, but it is not really SNOW...just some rain-mush. Hope Spring comes soon for all of us!

Hi Karen,
I received your mail today and it made me and my postbox extremely happy. It's amazing to look at. Actually, I can't stop looking at it.
