For my birthday this year, we made a day trip by train, to Washington, D.C. for another visit to the National Postal Museum.  The museum is right across the street from the train station, how convenient for us.  There is a terrific gallery of stamps on the mail floor and on the lower level are displays relating to the postal service, interactive stuff, a post office with special cancellation, a shop, and changing special exhibits. It's always fun to go there.  And they have free postcards, so we scooped up a few.  Above you can see one of my alterations to a card. What a perfect way for a Mail Artist to celebrate another year's turning.

Congratulations on another year.  This looks major compared to the French one, but what was the lunch bar like?

Great idea for a birthday treat. What a man you have there.
