MinXus Masterpiece arrives in Greece from Marie in Japan

The little royal minks/minXus on the envelope announce that the contents will be special: art from Marie Wintzer.

I always take care when opening the envelope from Marie, so as not to destroy the beauty of the whole image. The sides are sliced first and then cut across not at the top, but where the image begins, and then unfolded...

it is a beauty by itself...both sides now, both in and out :-)

Shanty town in Japan...close up...pure poetry:

Very thin and delicate paper, the envelope contains a boekie of "Soap Bubbles and Babble Soup"

made with transparent plastic prints overlaid on other layered images, black and white, dash of color...

Time to read it, visually, in eloquent silence....page by wondrous page:

getting close-up-and-personal...

..ending with the "publisher's trade mark":

This can be seen at MinXus Lynxus...but do you visit there often?

Yes, the First MinXus Refrigerator performance of 15 minutes on May 11, 2012:

"The Glory of MinXus" - 1st MinXus Refrigerator Exhibition - Wakosh...

The Refrigerator Performances (I think May 2012) were great. Many people participated to make it the First International Exhibition of MinXus Relics. The original Event Score said to put the mail-art in the fridge for 15 minutes but many took pics of the contents of their fridges. That worked just as well.

And speaking of David Zack - the refrigerator performances were a variant on the Neoist Apartment Festivals as well as various FluXus events.

Been out of things lately, farmhands leaving and things, but not sure I'd get all of this anyway.  I do love the amazing MA, though!

Katerina's MinXus Greece refrigerator exhibition. MinXus relics were displayed simultaneously around the world (as much as possible) with 15-minute refrigerator exhibitions of mail-art.

Hmm.. indeed. Well, MinXus is international, as we sing the "MinXus Internationale." But MinXus will not disclose either its birth certificate OR tax returns, if that's what you mean. But by decree of the Empress, MinXus is apolitical.

But MinXus Greece would show how it reveres Classicism - which we pointed out when you work appeared in the Refrigerator Performances. Now that was fun!

Wonderful! Like this black & White thing, gives the work a depth.. and  permeated by "Tiny Bubbles" gives it a great touch  :))

Hmmm,The question is:  is MinXus a US citizen?

Was Hawaii part of the Union when MinXus was born and blowing "Tiny Bubbles"?

(cannot get tune out of my brain now...geez!)

Katerina, I plan on being far away when Marie sees the MinXus Greece mink wears a crown. (Cheryl had to have a crown for letting us call SA a MinXus Nation.) The Empress is very particular about that crown (as MinXus is a monarchy or maybe even matriarchy). But leave it please. I can't wait to see the response.

MinXus Hawaii is fine, although technically part of MinXus USA.
