For the Project The World is a Town from Frank Odette and Stefano Fossiant Sini

I received the first mail for the Project "The World is a Town" from Australia and Italy - now I will HAVE to dismantle the book TODAY, and it will begin a new life in Mail Art. Frank sent a very interesting sort of hyper-palimpsest - a page that has been written on over and over so that previous traces of writing are visible. He did this on a glossy photographic paper, scoring the sheet and then rubbing in charcoal (Right Frank??). You did some research Frank!

From Italy I received "New Novgorod Codex" by Stefano Sini. Stefano is further spreading his message of peace and love for all the inhabitants of the universe.

These are both quiet, contemplative works, and I thank you both for participating - I hope we will continue to swop mail in this vein??

Its later on in the afternoon: the dismantling and remaking process

has begun - its quite liberating I must say.

Spot on Cheryl! I'm glad it made it to you, I was a little worried there for a while.
