Dean has sent me some mail-art while I was in France. Since there was a flea market coming up that weekend I though it was a perfect opportunity to get some good cash. I was sure of the success of this project, as the piece contained some rare british mail-art omens, as well as a unique "Manoir aux Visons en Alsace" address.…

No return address on the card but I am pretty sure this is Lisa's beautiful calligraphy. I hope I am right! If I am not, well, it is still a fantastic handwriting, painted on a thick book cover. Another "give it away" is the line about Marie Antoinette (about as much help as aspirin would have been to Marie Antoinette). I might be wrong here again but it looks…

A beautiful and delicate boekie from Alicia. I am not sure what kind of paper she has used, is it a kind of rice paper? It would fit the organic theme very well. Tea at the farm on a late spring evening, surrounded by chicken, or as Vizma would say, chooks :-)) I like chooks better. Alicia also included Japanese text, a piece of sewing pattern, and to wrap up…

Dean has sent me so many great pieces and I am so behind with blogging... I wanted to be the first one to crack the code, but I think several people have done so before me. Corked SOS, of course :-))…

I don't really know how to start this blog, because no blog can say enough to do justice to this work. Cheryl's Book about Books is an absolute beauty. It won't reveal all its secrets at first glance. You will have to dig in and explore to find out more about it.…

Fantastic etegami from Dosankodebbie. You cannot see it from the photo but the gel pen colors are nicely glittery. And the Japanese twist: the outline of the onions was painted with powdered matcha tea! Thank you so much Debbie, thanks to you my etegami collection is growing and looking absolutely gorgeous!…

Fresh dispatch from the Queen of Trash(po)! A fantastic trashbook. Don't you love this cover? It's my favorite part of the book. Along with the binding.…

I think this envelope got returned to Frieder, because it was included in another envelope and they both had cancellation marks. It's a beauty. And I love the stamps on the back as well.
The card is a cut up painting…

This was a lucky mail day with two envelopes from Katerina. An authentic piece of magic flying carpet, perfectly matching the tall greek blue grass. The second envelope came with the new Warhol stamp along with a Warhol…
