ah, yes, not sure it's a Britishism so much as context. The fear that you're wasting your time as well as someone's elses is our constant companion I'm afraid. Or perhaps I should say it's mine.

Maybe a bit of an British-ism ... not sad as in "boo-hoo-im-so-unhappy" but sad as in "nothing-else-to-do-with-your-time". thats sad .....

I'm not sure I followed that last segue....from Ono to sadness...is there a synaptic leap I missed somewhere?

Oh yes.  I intend to put up each page as I finish it and sometime, if I can organise myself I will get some photos of the album taken and post them too.

The album is an old "spring-back" type which means the pages can be taken out when neede so I am ever hopefull that one day some looney with gallery space will make a show of it all perhaps with other daft projects of mine like my endless boxes and my collection of found playing cards (nearly got a full pack of them!)  I;m thinking about Yoko Ono at the moment which shows how sad I am ....

I couldnt explain why I thought this a good idea but I did and it is one of my favorite pages in the album so far,  I half intend to add some rubber stamping to the page at some time.  The opposite page in the album has the sheet of stamps and explanation that you sent so they make a good spread (I think)
