In an effort to preserve Snail Mail via the postal service, we can send a postcard with a message/ artwork visible on one side of the postcard that can be seen both by the postal worker and the recipient of the card.You can send a postcard to anyone OR someone who is in this group. The goal being to support the postal service as well as to enliven recipients' and postal workers' day. cheryl h

Comment by Mim Golub Scalin on February 7, 2013 at 3:16pm: Yes, 1 August, stoppage of Saturday delivery, which only means that Clyde, my mail carrier, has more to deliver on Monday - so he'll be working very hard to catch up. He has a very large route to cover ON FOOT! Poor guy.

I even sent one to my mail carrier via my postal address. it came to my house, so I put it in an envelope and taped it to my door with the carrier's name on it. He got it. ha ha ha What fun. I send to IUOMA members and to my friends and family. I'm doing my best to save the USPS.
