Some odd transmission came through the Dkult Live Wire this am:

Dr. Kittler: Balto and I await new coordinates to be transmitted from DKHQ/Elgin Mansion. Our mission, rescue DVS and deliver him safely to Poncho for reprogramming and aromatherapy. Balto is the right choice for this mission he's got the credentials and the experience. Ask Snooky. As a former K9 officer he also has been the recipient of various military hardware. Can't say much more, this channel is not secure.
Dkult Operator: what star system is Balto from? He isn't showing up on my clearance list

Dr. Kittler: He's the dog star, Canis Sirius Major General and one of the northern lights. From the Milky Bone Way galaxy.
Dkult Operator: This is an urgent mission as now there is bad weather generated by Toxis trying to interfere with our extraction of him. The coordinates are embedded in the XXXXXX. Do you have the oatmeal cookies? no raisins, he HATES raisins

Dr. Kittler: Tx for the intel. We didn't see anything about raisins in the dossier. New batch in the oven, chocolate chip oatmeal with walnuts. Time is of the essence, but we fortunately gained 3 hours when a *glitch* sent us to the Pacific time zone.

Then is cryptic statement perhaps in code? any code crackers available?
Dr. Kittler:
XXXXXXXXXXXX She's in good company with some other XXXXXwaiting on body parts.

Sunday DKult News Update--some good mostly bad

Good News!! Dkult will be having its' 1st Miss Dumpy Pageant!!!!  Applicants please send a statement of why you deserve to compete for the title!!!!

The bad news:

if you haven't been following the unraveling of DVS and his descent into deep paranoia due to a bad batch of Dkult pills, please brief yourself on this. EVERYONE is affected by this.

Our leader (as depicted above by David Stafford) asked for doodles, so I doodled. It did not go unnoticed here at Nayland Farm.  We have a fairly rigorous routine, both working from home, both pulling our oars, so after breakfast had been eaten and when I didn't leap up to replace the homemade passion fruit and apricot jam in the fridge, Patrick leaned over and asked, 'whatcha doing?' in a perplexed and tolerant voice.  My response, 'I'm doodling for Diane' was not entirely appreciated.  

About a week after I sent my doodles (and they were met with enthusiasm in Elgin), mine arrived from DK, at least I think they're DK's doodles. They aren't signed, but it would be a little weird if they were, you don't usually sign doodles do you?

The next step is to doodle til they're done and this gives me something of an existentialist crisis.  Does she mean fill the page with doodles, add colour to the doodles, make them into a doodle book.  I'm not really asking I am trying to reign my over-zealous side in.

Many thanks Diane!  As ever your enthusiasm is infectious and these doodles are mad!

DK, just got a smorgasbord of trashpo-Dkult- Love in the mail from you!
