the shredding 'incident' was unfortuntae and although the unnamed source probably holds me responsible for his prolonged stay in Mexico, it has made for some interesting mail art exchanges. Let's just say some bio-po was involved.

DVS, your source who was reluctant to part with these items is now in a clinic in Mexico? You didn't put him there, did you? Trash criminals would not look good for the movement. If you can identify a pocket I will be thrilled.

I now have to include in the trashpo mission statement that one of the goals of trashpoetics is to unlock and expose dark, dirty little secrets.

Neil Gorden shared this with me-there is a series called Trashopolis on. I think it's on History channel but haven't watched it yet. Looks interesting though here's the blurb:

Trashopolis explores the most enchanting and iconic cities in the world and attempts to unlock their dark, dirty little secrets - through their trash. From Paris and Rome to New York, London and Cairo, this five-part series digs up the unexplored history of these great cities in an effort to better understand what made them the way that they are today.

OK Nancy, your are on the list for a rare piece of DK memorabilia. What I have are scraps from what appears to be a torn up shirt or blouse, plus some random shreds of a Twister board. I hope I can identify a pocket. I need to further cut them up and package them for display. My source for this material - currently confined in a clinic in Mexico - will be very pleased as he was reluctant to part with these items. But I'm sure we understand that necessity is the mother of invention.

I think the button came off this asemic sweater I gave my friend Heath. He is the resident DKult activity coordinator and tech guy-no shock there.  You must have started something when you sent your pants through the mail. I only wear grey clothes, so if it has any color you will know the clothes are fakes. That honey bunches of sugar box is becoming sacred

I'd be very interested in a DK pocket.

Below is a pic I grabbed from a blog Karen Champlin posted. Through an unnamed individual linked with the network, I have obtained a collection of buttons and ripped pieces of fabric that I have been promised are authentic pieces of DK clothing. Karen is the proud owner of a DK button. I am pleased to take orders for other items if D-KULT members are interested in receiving them.

I found it in the street this week, Neil. Not much plastic appeals to me enough to pick it up, but this was the best squashed plastic bottle I've ever experienced. It was just in time to help you out of withdrawal, you lucky thing.
