Please! Release those chapters, DVS! The title has to make them worth it.

Why is DK's page ALL GRAY, except for the purple rhinestones in the heart? She could be Marlene Dietrich, or Madonna during a very brief phase. Why does she not wear trashpo on her sleeve?

p.s. Life is so cosmic in my house. When the s got left out, I let it go.

And don't believe the "DK only wears gray" thing. Is this some take on the Johnny Cash "Man in Black" thing?

She's going to come out with "The Shroud of Elgin is a fake." Just wait. But I wouldn't get behind this unless I had complete faith in my sources.

Nancy I wrote "cosmic franchise." You wrote "comic." I'm not sure what's intentional or what matters.

I can also release chapters of "Splattered: My Life on the Road with DK," as the book has been suppressed. That would explain everything. But I'd rather stick to the positive side of this DK merchandising thing.

I think it's all a clever diversion to draw attention away from the D-Koder ring fiasco.

It'll be blogged, but trashpoets might want a look now at definitely the sloppiest mail art ever to arrive in Maine. I mean that with 100% affection. Neil Gordon's asemic trashpo envelope is a wonder to behold in person, held together only by tape. The tape IS the envelope. I hoped mightily that it didn't need to be opened, and Neil assured me that all I would find is the grocery bag scrap, so it is left as it was meant to be. I really do love it.

I"m sure you're right that the fetish items will result in comic franchise.  If only you could persuade DK to branch out from gray in her clothing; I'll take a gray pocket if necessary but it's far from first choice; you yourself have a green button, that's a major improvement right there! Your client should consider Nuevo Laredo for re-entry.

Mooo trashpo: Ben & Jerry's  better "taste" (strawberry-heart flavor?)

Comment by De Villo Sloan on November 6, 2011 at 10:13pm

These D-KULT "fetish" items are going to be a big hit, namely the shredded shirt and popped buttons. Think Shroud of Turin. Yes, we're talking cosmic franchise.

I am not at liberty to disclose the owner of the "Elgin Shroud." I did have to make a modest investment as he needed pesos to purchase Marlboro's, candy bars, diet Coke - things hard to come by when your taking the cure in a quack clinic. He also believes contributing DK material to the artworld might help his cause when he seeks to re-enter the US at Tijuana.

My "client" does hope to someday be able to visit Elgin again. He thinks of DK's home as Trashland, akin to the Graceland of Elvis.

So I'll get back to filling the orders.
