Dean, yes, the world still spins-great idea to do it that way.

Svenja, and you said you couldn't make a trashbook! I love what you've done. you have the best ephemera--thanks for posting Roberto

The end result is so lovely. I mean really, gorgeous shapes and shadows created by the breakage, so I don't think "tragic" is the right word. I love it! Nice work Dean.

Well I'm at least happy that it made it to you.  I think it looks great, and I am laughing at the sight of it.  Does the ball still turn?  I had to put an axel in so it would turn as it went around the world.  I didn't know it would take 3 weeks.  Well as The World Turns.

Beautiful Trashbook Kat! so serene to look at.  DW--the currency cracks me up. Attitude girl in a suit--who knew she would go corporate. Must be KDJ's influence.

Dean, funny you should post that now. I received your piece on Friday. I need to photograph it then will post it as your christmas bauble came to a tragic end. it was placed in a clear envelope. I'm sure my wonderful postman, Dario, loved delivering it. Another bit of tragic news is that they are moving Dario to a different route. Hoping the new postman isn't bland and grumpy like Nancys'.

Dean, your story about this piece is so evocative and wonderful and the care you took to preserve it and send it to me makes the ending that much more tragic.

A Bauble too far for DK

I sent this on the 6th of January, but it seems that it never arrived.  You win some, the post office loses some.
