This is a place to explore all things trashpo (Trash Poetry)and found objects. Trashpo is 1) economical 2) environmentally responsible and 3) challenging. It's a great way to repurpose all the trash that our planet is buried in!

"If trashpo has taught me anything its that every windblown street corner and cyclone fence is a veritable Dick Blick of free art materials."
Not that kind of junk and not thse kinds of drawers... Hey, we all have them. I have several. They are veritable trasher troves of useless and useful-but-forgotten stuff. Papers, letters from lost lovers, dried up fountain pens, church attendance…Continue

DKult was originated by DeVillo Sloan-- a Kult comprised of my 'fans' ---DKulters. He was the only one at the time and possibly even now. But It has evolved into a friendly neighborhood Kult devoted to the worship of trash and the creation of…Continue

I meant to say it works the same for "sick." Speaking in opposites: "Man, DK is sick!"
"That's the shit" is ennunciated differently than the old: "That is good shit!" "Dkult is the Shit" makes more sense.
Are you taking the piss or are you for real Dean? I think you've had the DicK. Yes, Angie and Dean, these are real Aussie sayings, school will resume tomorrow. Then Diane can add them to the KinDergarten syllabus.
I was in Wal-Mart last night & some guy pointed at something on sale & said to his girlfriend: "That's the shit!" So it means the opposite = that's really good, something incredible. On this side of the pond. I'm hearing it more & more.
Dean, Dean, Dean... you're missing out the most important part! DKult is THE shit. That's very good. As is sick :D
OH I like that Angie. But does sick mean cool now?
What did I miss, what did I miss? More than 10 pages of Trashpo blogs.
In short, did anyone say that they wanted my piece of the Elgin Shroud? Did I see a "yes" from Neil?
KDJ, how can anyone think that 'is shit" means something good? Does this come from those Ninja Turtles again? Also I thought you sent me stickers and I tried to stick them on statues in the park. They didn't work. Please send stickers. Does it work if we say DKult is piss? Sounds nicer.
Happy to be back.
Diane:Your son "the creeper" is already a trash legend
, interesting that the "one month anniversary" drawing looks a little burnt. Art is So universal and therapeutic!!! We need to tell HR that there is a need for trashpo therapy here at Dkult. Where our outdated emotional trash becomes art! Remember folks Trashchaplian-Neil's cyber-and home office is open 24/6 for your trashmotional needs!
My son (the originator of the DKult is the Shit phrase that has become so controversial) found this yesterday at his school (he is a certified creeper as he is reading this over my shoulder), it says Happy One Month Anniversary and I think it's sad that it ended up thrown away blowing in the wind--street and trash bound.
