This is a place to explore all things trashpo (Trash Poetry)and found objects. Trashpo is 1) economical 2) environmentally responsible and 3) challenging. It's a great way to repurpose all the trash that our planet is buried in!

"If trashpo has taught me anything its that every windblown street corner and cyclone fence is a veritable Dick Blick of free art materials."
Not that kind of junk and not thse kinds of drawers... Hey, we all have them. I have several. They are veritable trasher troves of useless and useful-but-forgotten stuff. Papers, letters from lost lovers, dried up fountain pens, church attendance…Continue

DKult was originated by DeVillo Sloan-- a Kult comprised of my 'fans' ---DKulters. He was the only one at the time and possibly even now. But It has evolved into a friendly neighborhood Kult devoted to the worship of trash and the creation of…Continue

Love that Stephanie-he must know how you love to laminate things.
Cleo-the Surrealistic compliment generator is hilarious. It would be nice to insert some of those in place of the 'yeah...uh huh..s that are required so often in conversation. We need a trashtalk generator. DKult really needs to work at recruiting some techno savvy members. Is anyone willing to evangelize at Best Buy?
That is a nice line, regardless of origins.
(Eg, this line: ""Luminescence breeds in your finest moments of desperation." Truly sounds like it was ripped straight from the pages of a Breton text!)(Glorious indeed!!! ^_^)
ha-ha-ha, indeed! pedantic-nerd shit I can't rid myself of the habit of ya know %_^ [but i'm larfing at mesef all the while, i promise...] aaaanyway, doesn't matter to me what's true because I'm a devout believer: Breton/surrealist phil/lit my god...
Ah Claire, it only takes the slightest misstep of the boot to rattle your chain.
it's S. vocabulary though, indeed! the humour of both, but def. the romance of S. [they're more well known for automatic writing anyway]. the D's completely abstracted the process, the Ss had a more personal touch, shall we say... (game vs revelation...? %_^)
you're a tease DV %_^
curious: i've forgotten my dates: was Lissitsky (sp?) working before or at the same time as Schwitters?
Cool toy Claire de Lune.
I think even Kurt Schwitters would agree that technically it's a DaDa generator.
(Mine: "You are the Ayatollah of Confusion on the night of Divalí.")
