Fabulous buttons!! So not trash.

That's right - I had one like that made with foam board/core and another exactly the same from corrugated cardboard. Try carving a circle into one side of some cardboard and see if that works!

I missed the buttons too - although I do vaguely remember them being mentioned, I definitely didn't see the pic of them. They look amazing! There's something about the designs ending up all neat and shiny that appeals to my OCD side. I often sign up for projects like this and then regret it mid-way through, but I'm always glad I did it in the end.

With the postage - sandwiching them between two pieces of card is a good idea. That's how I usually send my Arty Slides, and I have NEVER filled out a customs form. I'm a rebel like that.

Well done guys!

Cool ^_^ I think every member of the group can request one...? Or Steph will choose if not specified I suppose...?

Claire, I did see, I think, but don't know if I signed up or if that was possible at all... to much going on in my little head. The buttons are gorgeous!

oh, for overseas if you don't want to have to fill out a customs form for each, you could wrap in newspaper/whatever so it's kind of flat, then sandwich between two pieces of cardboard. If you can send a flat envelope [up yo 1/4" thick], it's considered a letter and doesn't need a form.

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on August 10, 2012 at 9:54pm

Okay, I'll try...%_^ What about just wrapping a button in newspaper and shipping in a small envelope like the one you sent me w/ the samples? Or you could do what you did w/ those - pin it to a piece of paper cardstock...? If you like, I will help. We could split the member list in 1/2, you could send me 1/2 the buttons and I'll post them. Just a thought, but I would be happy to help you w/ this task that looks rather daunting...LMK -
