Another work from Jacky Charmouan

I agree with Roberto, the solstice twins are UNFORGETTABLE. I can hear the great Nat King Cole singing in my ears.

About the final voyage towards death, I added some new photos on the LAMUSAR blog, sculptures from LOULOU that inspired my drawings and painting, also a new photo of the painting because the outside photo did not do justice to the colors. I have to figure out why the photos outside are worse than the photos inside, colorwise. It is strange...

Let's write the obituary together is indeed a small painted envelope without destination yet. Inspiration is a former co/worker, a nuclear expert who tried to convince the scientific institute of the health department of the Belgian government to send experts to Tchernobyl right after the accident happened there. Her boss refused these research missions. So what did she do, she financed the trips herself, took a leave of absence and went several times to the contaminated site and surroundings. She was the first telling me about the alteration of species because of the radiation. She is retired now and is dying from several cancers linked with her trips. She asked me to write obituary and eulogy after she passes to another dimension. I have agreed but am also fearing the moment of her passing. She is an amazing person, a bit crazy but sometimes you have to be crazy. She is well known in Flemish movie circles 2.

Has strong ties with Cuba. Protested on her own at Guantanamo. I would like to have been a fly when CIA questioned her. Who are you, for which organization do you work. I am a nuclear scientist and have worked for the Belgian government... LoL

She backed also the human shield movement in Iraq. Her daughter is married to an american musician who drums on oil barrils as form of protest. He is related to the family who runs Phillips Petroleum. As a teenager the Bushes were guests in the family home. SCUM, pure scum and evil, he once shouted at me when he was recalling childhood memories.

She owns one of the first ecological houses in the country, build on a huge socket that turns to follow the sun. Amazing house for an amazing woman. I shall be devestated when she is gone. So my envelope is almost a cry for help.

Guido

PS1

She wrote the plan of urgency for Belgium, what to do when a major nuclear accident happens. That plan is dedicated to me. The minister of interior asked her, but who is this GV, my friend and colleague was her answer...

PS2

The Russians abandonned a nuclear power plant in Cuba and the Cubans have not the technology or knowledge to start the plant. She had the crazy idea to do it herself. I talked her out of that crazyness. Instead she promotes Cuban singers and bands on tour. More harmless and less dangerous. OUF!!!

Adorable Solstice Twins of Memory and Forgetting by Theresa Williams. This is a print of a Gouache on watercolor paper she made. Thank Theresa for sharing this beauty.
